2020 WEEKLY SWEEPS GAMES


ACE - Low Gross/Low Net.  All Winners will qualify for the finale in December.  


Best Ball(s) -
Meeting days.  The best net ball; strokes where they fall.

     2 Best Balls - take two best Net balls (others in group do not need to finish - they can pick up and post what they reasonably thought they would have had).

     2 Best Balls + 3rd balls on Par 5s (All net)


Blind 9
– 9 holes are randomly selected after play – subtract 1/2 handicap.


Criss Cross
– Score your better hole of 1 or 10, 2 or 11, 3 or 12, 4 or 14, 5 or 13, 6 or 16, 7 or 15, 8 or 17, 9 or 18. Subtract 1/2 your handicap.


Double If
– Throw out your two worst scores, subtract full handicap.


Eclectic
- Improve your score over two play days, hole by hole.  Low Gross/Low Net.


Easter Ball
- Team Game.  Designated colored ball must be played, through the hole, successively by each player in the same order.  If the ball is lost, the group is disqualified.  Must count the Easter Ball on every hole, plus one additional best net ball.


Partners Odd/Even Relay
– Decide before play which partner will count the odd holes and which will count the even holes.  Eight stroke difference in handicap.  Add handicaps together, divide in half, subtract from total score.


Fairway Game & Putts Game
-  Tee Shot must land in the Fairway for 5 points, if not you start the hole with 3 points.  Once on the green for every Putt you subtract 1 point.  This continues for every hole.  Add all points at the end and most points wins!  Can be played as individual or team game! 


Field Shots
- Keep record of putts and subtract them from your score to get number of field shots.  Subtract full handicap.


Five Club Round
– Select and carry 5 clubs for play of the entire round.   Scores will not be posted.


Four Pars
- Take scores of 4 pars only.  Subtract 1/2 handicap.


Harvest Ball
(Team Game) – Designated colored ball must be played, through the hole, successively by each player, in the same order.   If the ball is lost, the group is disqualified.   Must count the Harvest Ball on every hole, plus one additional best net ball.


Hate ‘Em
– Circle three holes before play to throw out – subtract full handicap.


Individual Eclectic
– 2 week game. Take best net score from each hole over the 2 week period.  Okay to play just one week.  Subtract full handicap.  Awards for Low Gross and Low Net.


Modified Waltz
- 4 some event.  Net score - 1 best ball on 5 pars, 2 best on 4 pars, and 3 best on 3 pars.


Nassau
- Three ways to win!  Best front, best back, best 18.  Subtract 1/2 handicap on nine, full handicap on 18.


NET
– Count scores on holes that begin with N, E, T (holes 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 18).  Subtract 1/2 handicap. 


Even or Odd
– Count only odd holes on the front,  even holes on the back – subtract 1/2 handicap.


Oh, Shoot!
- use highest scores on nine holes (either front or back)  Subtract 1/2 handicap.


Partner’s Eclectic
- Best ball of partners over 2 days play.  Must play together.  Only one play day is okay.  Strokes where they fall.  Award Gross and Net.


Pick Your Poison
– 
Choose any 9 holes before you play where you think you will score well. They must include two par Fives, three par Threes, and four par Fours. Tally these 9 holes at the end of the competition and deduct half your handicap. The winner is the one with the best score.

Play the Middle - Score holes 6-14.  Subtract 1/2 handicap.


Putts
- Lowest number of putts total no handicap involved.


Scramble - Team game
.  All members of foursome drive.  Choose one drive.  All hit from there, continuing through until the ball is holed out.  Must use each person’s drive 3 times.


Shamble
- All tee off, all hit the best drive then play your own ball.  Each person must drive 2 times.  Strokes where they fall.


Stableford
– Points awarded for net scores. 1 pt – bogey, 2 pt – par, 3 pt - birdie, 4 pt – eagle, 5 pt – double eagle.  Strokes where they fall.


Sweet and Sour
- Count 4 best holes on front and 4 best holes on back plus worst hole overall.  Subtract 1/2 handicap.


Team Stableford
– Points awarded for net scores. 1 pt – bogey, 2 pt – par, 3 pt. birdie, 4 pt – eagle, 5 pt – double eagle.  Strokes where they fall. 


Trick or Treat (blind nine)
- Nine holes will be selected by blind draw after play.  Subtract 1/2 handicap.


T&F
- Use holes beginning with T and F (2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15) subtract 1/2 handicap.

 

Tough Love - Score 9 hardest handicap holes.  Subtract 1/2 handicap.
