CODE OF CONDUCT

The game of Golf requires high standards of behavior and sportsmanship.   Honesty, integrity, and self-regulation are fundamental to maintaining the high standards of golf.  The Member’s Code of Conduct shall serve as a guideline for how individuals are expected to behave when participating in all club events, including weekly play, home and away tournaments.   The Legends Ladies Golf Club expects that its members and guests will:

·         Always show respect for themselves, the rights, dignity, and worth of every person, and The Legends Golf Club management and staff.

·         Play the game with sportsmanship and high standards of general behavior at all times.

·         Comply with directions and/or requests from staff.

·         Refrain from public criticism or derogatory and unproductive remarks towards any other person. 

·         Refrain from any actions which may cause potential endangerment of others.

·         Refrain from any other behavior or act, which may be offensive to acceptable social protocol.

ADDED PARAGRAPH

Alleged breaches of this Code of Conduct are to be reported to and investigated by the Executive Board and may be subject to disciplinary action.   Reporter and Witness must submit reported violation in writing to the Executive Board.  After an investigation is conducted, if the Executive Board determines the alleged violation is valid, the following progressive disciplinary action will be implemented.

1st Offense - Written Warning

2nd Offense - 2nd Written Warning

3rd Offense - Loss of club playing privileges for a 3 week period

4th Offense - Termination of membership
