Ringer Membership and Status
Last Updated: 04/17/20

The Ringer is a quarterly contest. It costs $5 per quarter to join. It is basically
an individual eclectic for each of the nine hole courses over a three-month
period.

Each week, players keep a Ringer scorecard along with a Handicap and
Tournament card.  The Ringer chairperson then enters each participant's
score on all 18 holes.  The database that's used automatically selects the
lowest score on each hole, regardless of the week it was earned.  This
ringer score is then is a member's lowest score for each of the nine holes
on any of the courses -- Creek, Oaks, and Stonehouse. At the end of the
quarter, the Ringer chairperson pays out the lowest gross score on each
nine and the lowest net score on each nine.  (The net score is based upon
the member's handicap at the beginning of the quarter.)  We pay only one
place per each 9 holes-either(gross or net).  We currently have three flights
for award purposes.  We will provide updates at the end of each quarter, as
shown below. If you want to join, contact Jill Barrett.
