Huy Dang qualifies for the 2015 SCGA Amateur Net Championship
Huy Dang, your club President, qualified for the 2015 SCGA Amateur Net Championship (81st edition) to be held at Industry Hills GC on April 13-14. Huy qualified at Brookside with the low score for the day in his flight! For some context, only 3 players per flight advanced to the finals and there are 10 qualifying sites, which means hundreds of local golfers try to make it into this event. Just making the field is quite an accomplishment and we are sure Huy will proudly represent Griffith Park. You can follow live scoring at SCGA.org.

Matt shot a net 69 (gross 74) on Saturday at Lakewood and followed that up with a net 70 (gross 75) on Sunday at Los Verdes. It is great to see our players out representing the club in city, SCGA and USGA events! The Los Angeles County Amateur is held annually over the Labor Day weekend on County courses, typically has a field of over 150 and winners qualify for the Los Angeles County Masters held in December.
